In the months to follow, an Administrator was hired and equipment and supplies were moved to Wisconsin. While Special Touch Ministry plans to continue many of the prior services, the current building has very limited desk space and room for only one Braille embosser. We appreciate your prayers and support as Special Touch Blind Services moves forward in developing programming, raising funds, and expanding the National office in Wisconsin. Our goal is to be able to produce and begin distribution of accessible materials as early as the second quarter of 2020. In order to continue serving the needs of people with blind and visual impairments during this transition period, we have compiled a directory of additional resources for audio and Braille Bibles, devotionals, sermons, Christian literature, and more. In addition, those with visual impairment are welcome to join the monthly STM Online Fellowship Group (accessible online or by phone). Special Touch Ministry is excited about developing an evangelistic focus in ministry to people who are blind or have visual impairments. Currently in progress is a daily phone scripture-reading service and programming to work with schools for the blind. For more information or a list of resources, email blind@specialtouch.org .
